SUBMITTING MANUSCRIPTS

• We are happy to consider all kinds of manuscripts that in one form or another challenge the status quo… However, no unsolicited manuscripts please. Maximum one page synopses, along with a mini biography and contact details are good.

• We, for example, are interested in (though not exclusively) works that tap into a sentiment whereby it is as though you are in the process of recognising something from your own subconscience that is being presented back to you… Something that triggers an identifiable familiarity within the unfamiliar…

  We are also especially interested in the revolutionary, the subversive, and that which advocates the undermining of divisions.

• We provide four services essentially:

One is whereby we create a book for the author based on the manuscript she or he has provided, and which we have accepted. Proof-reading, graphic design, cover design, minimal editing (if required/agreed to) and printing of the books is all part of the process in creating the most pristine possible example of the author’s work to present to the world.

The second service we provide is the same as the above but in addition it includes our publishing of the book within our ‘Red Egg’ or ‘Black Egg’ publishing house stable; and thereby naturally will include an ISBN.

Aditional Information (related to the two above points) –

we do provide additional services, such as making the work available throughout the world online [this option is not open to all, and is dependent upon additional factors].

We can also provide one-off and limited-edition examples of works with, for example, presentation boxes with designed covers.

Finally, we can provide related material for promotional purposes and book launches (or just for fun). For example, book-related fliers, posters and pamphlets.

• Catalogues –  we construct, design and print catalogues for art exhibitions and book launches.

• Our final service is that we can re-print old out-of-print books and catalogues

Our books are in bookshops in the United Kingdom, the United States, France and Australia … and many other places, and are sold throughout the world.

Since we are a small publishing company and provider of book-related services we cannot at this moment (though we hope that will come) subsidise the above-mentioned activities. Hence, the author initially has to be self-financing.
